Money Saving Tips

Every one of us knows the importance of Savings, but actually doing it is not an easy task for most of us. Here are some money saving tips that you can consider and these tips are the tips that I'm doing.

  •    Pay your debt first
First you need to eliminate your debt. If you can make it to pay for a one time payment much better, but if you can’t afford it make a plan on how you will pay it monthly and be consistent on it. It is better you are debt free before you start your savings to avoid suffering from any charges of interest.

  •    Spend Less
One of the keys to save money is to spend less or minimized your spending and living below your means. Sure, most people want more than they have but life is not all about spending money. Be thankful for what you have and learn how to enjoy the financial position you are in. Hinde naman kelangan nating bawasan yun mga basic needs natin or totally get rid of ourself of luxuries. Kelangan lang natin ma recognizes the wants from needs. Anu ba talaga yun wants sa needs? Magagawa mo marecognize ito by a making a list of your expenses. “Ako ganito ginagawa ko nililista ko lahat ng pinagkakagastosan ko everyday believe me, kahit resibo ko sa grocery iniipon ko. After that I will check the item that I bought from the grocery and I ask myself kelangan ko ba ito o hinde at kapag nakapag decide na ako, sa sunod na mamili ako sa grocery totally hinde ko na bibilihin yun item na yun. The benefits’ of writing your expenses is it helps you to discover where is the biggest amount of your money goes and may give you ideas on how you can save. Make sure the thing you want to spend your money on is a “need” and not a “want.”

  •   Pay yourself first
Pay yourself first simply means you have to set aside a percentage of your money for savings and you will do it every payday without any excuse. In my previous blog pinakita ko sa inyo ang halimbawa kung paano hatiin yung monthly salary. Start for at least 10% of your monthly income then adjusts it later once you can afford to add more percentage the more the better. This saving, you can use it for your future business or in the other type of investment. If you’re doing this regularly without any fail it will become a habit and once it becomes a habit, saving would definitely become automatic.

  •       Avoid Bad Habit and don't get Discouraged
Smoking, Drinking & Gambling are among the bad habits you should avoid. If you cannot avoid it, try to minimize it slowly until you are totally free of that habit. Such habit is addictive and it causes bad effect on your physical and mental health. Don’t be discouraged to achieve your goal, be aggressive in your savings plan and stick to it. Live in a clean lifestyle and be thankful for every blessing you have. Saving money requires some investigative skills, desire, determination, and creativity. Once you get in the habit of saving money, you will feel better about yourself and enjoy life much more without debt hanging over your head!
