How you will describe or tell a person as wealthy?

I know you will say, syempre! kapag nakasuot ng mgandang damit sabi nga nila naka-amerikana, may magandang bahay, may magandang kotse, nakakapagbakasyon sa ibang bansa, may magandang asawa (ha ha ha! hmm biro lang) at madami pa na nagagawa nila na hinde nagagawa ng pangkaraniwang tao. But you know not all them are truly wealthy at yun iba kapareho din natin sila na naghihirap din sa pera. Yup it's true, some of them are wealthy today only because of their good job and have a great position in the company, but what if they lost their job suddenly or got sick and cannot go back to work anymore. Kaya pa ba niya suportahan yun style of living niya kung wala siya investment or business.

You are "Truly Wealthy" if you can continue to live comfortably in your lifestyle that you want without any worrying. Kung magagawa mo na mamuhay ng maginhawa at walang iniisip tungkol sa pera kahit hinde ka na nagtatrabaho at pa relax-relax ka na lang.

So, Don't try to Look Wealthy, Just Be One!

Do you want to become wealthy?

Don’t try to appear like one.  Just be one.

In the bestselling book, Millionaire’s Next Door, authors Thomas Stanely and William Danko were surprised to discover that “real” millionaires in America have very simple tastes.  Let me say that again, lest you think that was a typo error: Most REAL millionaires have a simple lifestyle…

In their book, the real millionaire was not defined by how much money he earned but by how much wealth he kept.  (My definition is slightly different: The real millionaire is defined by how much wealth he gives away!)  Their point?  You could earn buckets of cash but that doesn’t mean you’re wealthy.  You could earn millions but are still be buried in debt, still have financial worries, and have a net worth of a doughnut—because you’ve been SPENDING it all on deteriorating stuff.
Don’t be shocked, but these authors found out that most of the real wealthy rarely wore designer clothes, rarely lived in expensive homes, rarely had expensive vacations, and rarely bought luxury cars.  So where did they put their money? They lived way below their earning capacity, so that they could save more and multiply their money through investments and business.
If you want to be a multimillionaire, I always recommend that you invest at least 20% or more of your monthly income and give 10% of your monthly income to God.  To do that, you need to simplify your life.
Check this out: According to their surveys, 66% of the buyers of brand new luxury cars were NOT truly wealthy. Most of truly wealthy kept their cars for a number of years.
According to their research, most of the real wealthy didn’t reside in upscale villages.  (One reason was that residing in plush villages would “pressure” them to maintain an upscale lifestyle—something they didn’t want to do.)  And most didn’t change homes for thirty years or more.
One of the most startling facts the authors found out: Most of the real wealthy stayed married with one spouse (no divorce, no alimony), and had a good family life.  They trained their kids in the values of simplicity, frugality, and hard work.
Question: Are you comparing yourself with your richer neighbors and friends?  Give up that nasty habit.  Be happy with where you are and who you are.

       Don’t try to appear wealthy.

A Budget Is A Theological Document;
It Tells You What You Worship

If you aim for nothing, you’ll get there.

And if you don’t plan how you’ll spend your money, you’ll also end up in the same place financially: you’ll have nothing at the end of the day.

First of all, track your spending.  For the next 30 days, before leaving for work, tuck into your pocket a little notebook where you can jot down expenses every time you purchase something.  Each new day should have its own page.  Tedious?   Don’t worry—you’ll get the hang of it after awhile, it’ll be like second nature.  Anyway, its just for 30 days.  (Extend it to 60 days if you want more information about your spending.)

You’re doing this because you want to know where your money goes.  This “diagnosis” will give you the wisdom where to cut back and do some “surgery”.

At the end of 30 days, pull out your tiny notebook and make a spreadsheet.  (You can also use your computer for this.)  Create categories: Food, House maintenance, Medical, Clothing, Tuition, etc.  Pencil down your expenses and viola, what you’ve got is a “spending record.”

If you do this for about two months, you can create a “spending plan” or budget—based on your diagnosis.

One guy who made a spending record for the first time was shocked to realize he could save P3,500 each month if he gave up his after-office-hours snack before returning home.  “I deserve this because I work so hard,” he reasoned—until he summed up the yearly savings if he went straight home to his wife and let her feed him from their kitchen.
And remember: The moment you get your salary, give your tithes first and your investments second.  If you don’t make these your first payments, trust me, you won’t be able to tithe or invest at all.

May your dreams come true,
Bo Sanchez

Inspiring Story from Bo.Sanchez (Do You Want Success? Stop The Blame!)

Hi! I will share with you a great article from Bo.Sanchez I've read entitled "Do you Want Success? Stop the Blame!". Friend, if you want to succeed in life stop blaming others because the level to which you can achieve your dreams is depends on the level you take responsibility for your own life. You know, when you blame others you deny on your own responsibility and you give to others the power over to control your life. In addition, don't also blame yourself because it only ruined your life move on and create a new life, create a new strategy and next time choose wisely and learn from your mistakes. Your success depends on you.

[Excerpt from Bo.Sanchez Practical Soulfood]
Do you want to succeed in life?
Stop whining.
Take charge.
Make things happen.
Here’s what I realized: Addicts are expert blamers.  They will never take charge.  They will never say, “I’m in charge.  Depending on what I choose, my life can be very beautiful or very ugly.”  Because addicts believe that others are to blame for their problem.
They had a survey—what is the common denominator of all successful people in the world.
They checked family background—and they found nothing in common.  Some had great families while others had broken families.  They checked education—and there again, there was nothing in common.  Some had Ph.D’s while others didn’t even have a high school diploma.  They checked religion—and there was nothing in common.  Others were Christians, some were Muslims, some were Buddhists, some were atheists.
There was only one thing that all successful people had in common: They responded to failure positively.   When the going gets tough, they took charge!  They took the steering wheel of their life and drove.
Let me correct a misunderstanding: Friend, you are NOT the passenger and God is the driver.  I’ve heard that analogy a lot.  Shucks, I’ve even taught it.  But it’s wrong.  Here’s a better analogy: You are a driver (because God gave you free will)—but God is the real owner of the car, the master mechanic riding with you in the car, the GPS guiding your car, and the powerful fuel in your car…
We Even Blame God!
In Genesis, you find the famous “blame” verses in the Bible.
First, Adam blamed Eve for his sin: “God, she made me do it.”
And then Eve blamed the snake for her sin: “Uh, this snake made me do it!”
This is shifting the blame.
You don’t hear the words, “I did it.  I blew it.  It’s my fault.  I’m sorry.  Please forgive me.”  None.  Instead you hear words of blame.  Pointing fingers.
Actually, if you read the exact words of Adam, He was actually blaming God for his sin.  Adam said, “The woman YOU put here in the garden made me sin…”
       Tsk, tsk.
That was why bestselling author Larry Crabb said that the problem of this world is really the problem of manhood.  He calls it the Silence of Adam.  He didn’t protect his wife Eve.  He allowed her to fall into sin—and even blamed her when he sinned.
I love what Bishop Ruben Abante told me.  He said the Bible does NOT say, “Wives, love your husbands”.  But it says, “Husbands, love your wives”.  How come? Because love should come from the husband.  When the husband loves the wife and the children, the wife and the children will love him.  Men must take charge for the spiritual life of the family.  When they take their leadership role seriously, abundance will flow.
“It’s Your Fault, Bo…”
One day, I was talking to a man who committed adultery.  He said, “Bo, if you knew my wife, you too would commit adultery.  Each day, I’d come home from work tired and exhausted, and I get nothing but nagging wife upset about this and upset about that.  Every single night.”  I felt so sad for him.  Because I knew he won’t change.
Before our conversation was over, his last words to me were, “I fell into adultery because YOU didn’t follow me up.  You’re my spiritual leader.  But you were too busy with other things…”
Groan.  So now it was my fault he committed adultery?
Don’t Even Blame Yourself
Look, I’m not even asking you blame yourself.
Just take responsibility.  (There’s a huge difference.)
God is not in the business of blaming people.
God is not in the business of condemning people.
God is in the business of loving people, forgiving people, and giving people abundance.
If you have fault, accept it.
If you have sin, admit your mistake.
But never condemn yourself!
The point is not to blame yourself for your mess.  The point is taking charge for creating a new life.
       Yes, accept the guilt.
But accept also the power to live a new life.
When you take responsibility, you don’t find fault—even on yourself.
Condemnation won’t heal you.  Judging yourself won’t heal you.  Taking a guilt trip won’t heal you.  Shaming yourself won’t heal you.
Only love will.
“Learned Helplessness” Or “Learned Helpfulness”
If there’s such a thing as “Learned Helplessness”, let me introduce you to “Learned Helpfulness”.   Find the power that God has given you to change your life.  Learned helplessness happens one day at a time.  Learned Helpfulness happens one day at a time too.
There are three kinds of people in the world:
1.      Those who make things happen.
2.      Those who watch as things happen.
3.      And those who wonder, “What happened?”
What kind of person are you?
